Grâce, 60, Masisi Hospital

“I am the grandmother of Wema. We live in a camp for internally displaced persons of Gasheberi, near Kalinga. We live there together with my daughter and her children in the same hut. When the hut was set to fire, I tried to rescue our belongings but the burning roof fell in on me. So I could not save anything. We have not yet received a tarpaulin, though we keep asking. Now, my family remains with me to take care of me . Two of my grandchildren spent the night on the hospital bed with me and my daughter slept on the floor with the other child.”
