Your messages delivered to Eastern Congo
March 30th, 2010
On the 24th November 2009, MSF launched the last installment of the Condition: Critical project. You heard stories from Francoise, Mishoko, Bahati and children that have been abducted during the conflict.
Since then, nearly two thousand of you have left messages of support for the people of Eastern Congo on the Condition: Critical message map. The first of these messages have already arrived in Congo and more are to follow. This video shows messages being delivered by MSF staff and the reaction of local people to them.
Please send this video on to anyone you know who supported the Condition: Critical campaign in any way. Thank you from MSF for your support too.

This is a wonderful outreach. I hope MSF and other organizations pick up on it. I think so many people just don’t know about the beauty of Congo, Rwanda, the Great Lakes, and her people.
I cried when I heard these messages read; for if there is one thing I have to say it is, “you are not forgotten”

[...] We asked visitors to our mini-website Condition-Critical.org to send messages of support to the people of Eastern Democratic Republic of Congo. But we never really thought through how we planned to deliver those messages, even symbolically. The daunting task fell to me. Here’s the result, a video I filmed in December 2009 in the camps around Kitchanga in North Kivu. [...]
