Jonge mensen uit het oosten van de Democratische Republiek Congo spreken zich uit op ‘Toestand: kritiek’. Ze hebben wat te vertellen.
VECHTEN is de derde en laatste van de reeks films, opgedragen aan de jeugd van Oost-Congo. Voormalige kindsoldaten, die nu hun wapens hebben neergelegd, vertellen ons over hun deelname aan de Congolese oorlog. Ze zijn 14, 15 en 16 jaar oud, ze werden geboren tijdens de oorlog en hebben nooit vrede gekend.
Deze jongeren leven in een overgangsmoment – tussen een gisteren, temidden van het conflict, en een morgen zonder wapens. Ze zoeken vrede in hun leven. Luister naar hun verhaal.
