Thanks for this awesome film. I’m distributing it as widely as possible.
I’ve been following the situation in the DRC since briefly visiting Goma in 1994.
I’m hoping to visit again next month to see the situation for myself.
How can anyone turn a blind eye to what has and is still happening in eastern DRC - or is 5 million dead since ‘98 acceptable?

I have never experienced anything that can compare to what the children of war have experienced. Therefore, I cannot offer insightful commentary. All I know is that I will be a physician dedicated to healing people in many MSF missions. The thought that I could one day be a doctor with MSF was one of my motivations for entering medical school. Thank you, MSF for all you have done. Knowing that there is a humanitarian group that does not have an alternative agenda (with respect to religion views, economic gain, or political ties). Your goal is simply to help no strings attached.

I would like to thank MSF, Cédric Gerbehaye and many others for raising awareness and calling us for more actions . Here is a piece titled INHUMAIN (french for INHUMAN) that I wrote in March 2009 before taking action myself:
”
”

Its sickening to see how millions have been hurt caused by the raging war to control the mining industry.. and to think we’re a playing a part in it by using our mobile phones, computers and buying worthless diamond rings some will never wear.. this part of africa has been calling for our help.. congrats to the filmmakers.. theyve done something good.

[...] “Condition Critical: Words of War in Eastern Congo”While there is nothing groundbreaking in the use of multimedia in this work, the pictures and the story are so strong that perhaps it was smart not to cloud the presentation with technological bells and whistles. Simplicity is often the best showcase of truly powerful photography. Here, the photographer Cédric Gerbehaye of Agence VU shows his range, in formats from square to panorama, as he presents the voices of those struggling to survive the conflict in eastern Congo. [...]

I found this video very interesting and profound. Thanks for the work you are doing to raise awareness about this critical issue that the world seems to ignore. One point i would like to make is that lot people in this documentary spoke Kinyarwanda, which i found very interesting because it shows that there still a large rwandan refugee population in that region since 1996, the beginning of the war and the destruction of all the hutu refugees camps. My concern has always been that no one talks about what happened to those civilian hutu refugees that got caught in a war in which they were the target: Little kids, old people, women, etc still get killed or rape. I would have love to see in this documentary, this issue mentioned, considering that some people interviewed seemed to come from Rwanda or speak Kinyarwanda.
Thank you,

Impactante!!!
